ElkFest is a full weekend of activities built around the thousands of elk wintering on the National Elk Refuge.
Thousands of elk winter on the National Elk Refuge and shed their antlers every spring. It is a Jackson Hole tradition to gather the antlers and celebrate the change of season with ElkFest. ElkFest 2023 weekend is packed with activities including the antler harvest, 56th annual Jackson Hole Boy Scout Elk Antler Auction, High Noon Chili Cook-Off, Mountain man Rendezvous kick-off and more.
