Jackson Hole 4th of July Parade
Beginning at 8 a.m. with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Jackson’s Town Square hosted by the Lion’s Club, the Jackson Hole 4th of July Parade is a beloved summer tradition that celebrates our town’s history, culture, community and patriotism. Starting at 10 a.m., the parade laps around the town of Jackson, featuring festive floats, cowboys and cowgirls on horseback, dancers, performers and plenty of surprises. Judges will be on-hand to score the floats and determine the top three designs to be awarded prizes. To view a map of the parade route from the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, click here.
Grand Teton Music Festival & Patriotic Pops
Just in time for Independence Day, the Grand Teton National Parkreturns for its 61st season on Sunday, July 3, kicking off eight weeks of performances at the Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village under the direction of Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles. The full schedule features a mix of renowned orchestra performers from across the country, with a special Patriotic Pops performance on the evening of July 4th. The Festival Orchestra and guest vocalist Capathia Jenkins will perform spirited renditions of patriotic classics from 7-9 p.m. as the sun sets behind the lush summer hills of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Stick around after the concert for one of Jackson Hole’s three fireworks displays.
Tickets are required and are available online, however lawn seating is free, with reserved seating available from $25-50.
