Teton Village Disc Golf Course offers an almost free (except the cost of the discs, which can be purchased at many sports stores around town) opportunity to hike and compete with your friends or family for an afternoon. Located on the lower slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the 18 hole course winds its way up and down the hill totaling almost 3700 feet of Frisbee throwing fun.
The course is good for both beginners and seasoned players. Offering enough challenge and distance for those who’ve played, but most holes are rated a par 4, which is unique for disc golf where the par for most holes is 3. This gives the new player a chance at finishing the course with a sense of accomplishment. The course is a perfect way to have fun without spending hours searching for their discs. With fairways that cut through forests and tees that overlook open meadows, this course has a great sense of variety that keeps even the most casual play engaged for a memorable afternoon.
Disc golf is the frisbee form of ball golf. The course is played with a concave plastic disc which is thrown into a series of metal baskets. the object is to complete the course using the fewest possible throws. This is a perfect activity for a social and family get-togethers.
