American Airlines to Fly Year-Round to Jackson Hole
If you’re looking for an amazing family getaway amidst gorgeous mountain backdrops, Jackson Hole is probably already on your radar.
It’s a destination that is very easy to access, with flights from several major cities to Jackson Hole Airport. Next year, a new flight will make it even easier to vacation here during the spring and fall.
Beginning in Spring 2018, American Airlines will offer a daily CRJ700 flight from Dallas Fort Worth, TX to Jackson Hole, WY, complementing their A319 service during the summer and winter. This flight will operate Spring and Fall service nonstop from DFW to JAC. Flights will depart from Dallas Fort Worth at 11:10 am, arrive in Jackson at 12:58 pm, and then return to DFW at 3:35 pm for a 7:17 pm arrival.
Visiting Jackson Hole During Spring & Fall
Spring and fall are ideal seasons for traveling to Jackson Hole. The destination is less crowded during these months, giving travelers a more comfortable run of the region’s biggest attractions. These two seasons offer opportunities for hiking, exploring two national parks (Yellowstone and Grand Teton), and wildlife viewing. Fall is a great time for seeing beautiful foliage, while Spring is the time to catch wildflowers in full bloom.
Keely Herron, speaking on behalf of the JH Travel & Tourism Board says, “Daily year-round service on American will be a big benefit to Jackson locals as well as business travelers. The Travel & Tourism Board works to help even out seasonal ebbs and flows, and we look forward to supporting American Airlines, along with each of our airline partners flying service to Jackson during the spring and fall seasons."
