Snow King Ski Area & Mountain Resort

Snow King, commonly know as "the town hill", rises up from the south edge of Jackson and offers convenient recreation for locals and visitors alike.

Legendary Snow King Ski Area & Mountain Resort was founded in 1939. As Wyoming's first ski area, Snow King Ski Area & Mountain Resort offers you a complete mountain experience in one in-town location, featuring alpine and telemark skiing, snowboarding, ski school and King Tubes, a snow tubing park. On-site ski rentals, an indoor ice skating rink, dining, shops, a lounge and ski-in/ski-out condominium and hotel lodging are all right at the base of the mountain - just six blocks from the Jackson Town Square.

Summer Activities at Snow King Summer Resort

Unique activities in Jackson Hole await visitors at the Snow King Mountain Summer Resort. Snow King has been the hub for summer mountain activities for over 75 years. Located in the heart of Jackson Hole, Snow King is easy to access with plenty of free parking right on our doorstep, only six blocks from the Jackson Hole Town Square. Snow King Mountain Summer Resort is home to the famous Alpine Slide where children and adults can experience the mountains in a fun and safe environment. One of Snow King Resort's newest — and most thrilling — experiences is a 1,300-foot-long zip line that guides riders down Snow King Mountain at speeds up to 60 miles per hour. Other Jackson Hole activities available at Snow King include the scenic chairlift ride with its spectacular views of the Tetons, Cowboy Coaster, alpine slide, hiking, paragliding, miniature golf, maze, mountain biking and more.
